Philips Vitae
Infrared heating elements with Philips Vitae lamps move not in long or centralwavy "ABC" infrared radiation range but cover the entire spectrum. Thanks to it they are very similar to the IR radiation that the sun radiate on the earth's surface. The advantage is that primarily it warms up not the air, but the body of people. The radiant heat is purposefully used. In addition the Vitae heating element achieves its maximum capacity immediately after switching the lamp on - contrary to the other technologies no preheating time is needed.
The Vitae lamp covers the entire infrared spectrum. Almoust the same as we find it in nature with the sun. The Philips Vitae lamps react very fast and therefore they are much more comfortable for the user. They make it possible to use the IR cabine spontaneously.
The Philips Vitae lamp has an average life of 5000 hours. The capacity of the lamp remains constant during the entire life.
The differences between the all kinds of rays heating elements depends on depth of it's penetration into the skin, before they are absorbed and converted into warmth. Generally said: the shorter-wave is the ray the more deeply it goes into the skin. IR-A has the strongest penetration depth of the three ranges.
